Youth Ministry

With many needing to stay home right now, we need our young people to step up in the roles that traditionally some of our older/retired population filled, contact us to find the ways your gifts, skills or willingness can help fill our Church's needs.  If anyone if your family is able to help as a lector, usher or Eucharistic Minister a few times, please contact the parish - we'd be happy to train anyone who wants to help during this time.  Also, a new live stream team is being created  - if you're interested in helping run the system at during Mass, please contact the parish to get started.

Participate at Mass:  Learn more about our Catholic faith and participate in the ministries at Mass.  If you’re interested in being a lector, usher, musician, altar server, Eucharistic minister , leader for Children's Liturgy of the Word, or helping out with the AV room, please stop by the parish office.  (For those of you in Faith Formation, participation in a liturgical ministry will also count in place of Mass Notes, talk to us for details)

CORE Peer Ministry Team:  CORE is a team of young people and adults who help to choose and implement events,  activities, and faith experiences for the young people of our community.  We meet on the first Monday of each month  and work to make Faith Formation Large Group Sessions lively and Spirit filled as well as plan monthly activities for the  youth of our parish.  Youth in grades 9-12 are welcome to join us as peer ministers, contact Elizabeth at the Parish if  interested.  etrksak@saintritas.org
